Our story — three generations of trust

Moonshine Store is a third-generation family business, founded in 1965 by the late Muhammad Jamaluddin as a single-shutter neighbourhood grocery. Six decades later the store is in the steady hands of his grandson, Muhammad Osman, who carries the same promise — fair prices, honest weight, and a friendly shopkeeper who knows your name — to a new generation of customers, now online.

1. 1965

   Founded by Muhammad Jamaluddin

   Muhammad Jamaluddin opens a single-shutter grocery on a quiet street corner, weighing rice and lentils on a brass balance, and learning every household's preferences by name.

2. 1990s

   Muhammad Imamuddin — second generation

   The store passes to Jamaluddin's son, Muhammad Imamuddin, who widens the shopfront, introduces a small fleet of bicycles for local home delivery, and adds branded staples alongside the loose grains.

3. Today

   Muhammad Osman — third generation

   Today the store is run by Muhammad Osman, grandson of the founder. The shutters still open every morning, but orders also arrive through this website, with same-day delivery across the neighbourhood.
